The days in the Brooks Lodge and Katmai Nationalpark were the only ones with bad weather and nevertheless the absolute highlight of the tour.
It is something very special and unforgettable to experience the grizzly bears (1.000 pounds each) hunting for salmon or to observe the salmon on their difficult and final trip upriver.
Naturally some hours without clouds and rain would have suited me fine from a photographic point of view, but nature eventually does what nature wants. There is nothing we can do.
